Crying for Comfort

Crying for Comfort - Conference Details - 5th to 7th March 2004

Venue:
 Dyke House in Ledbury

 Dates:
 5th - 7th March 2004

"Pain and suffering often generate a profound sense of loneliness. We think we are cut off from everyone, we feel that no one can possibly understand"
(D.A. Carson, How Long O Lord?)

Come and join us as we look into how the Bible helps us to understand suffering, and how to care for those who are crying out for comfort in the midst of physical, emotional and spiritual pain and confusion.

Main bible teaching sessions will be looking at the book of Job, given by Hugh Thomson.

In addition, there will be seminars providing an opportunity to explore other issues relevant to working as Christian allied health professionals.

This is a great opportunity to meet others within your profession, as well as strengthening relationships between the professions. (This year's conference is being held in conjunction with the conferences of the Therapy Students Christian Fellowship and Christian Student Nurses and Midwives.)
